Why we fund the CycleKart on our own site
By Cory Myres
This is an example post. It shows the layout of an article and will be replaced by Cory’s own writing.
The CycleKart is funded here, on our own site. The backers, the build log, and the funding progress all live in one place, under one set of rules.
Backers choose how to take part. A pledge saves a card today and charges it only if the project reaches its goal by the deadline. A gift is charged today and goes straight to the build.
Pull quotes use the display serif in italic, set off with a gold rule.
Article text is set in the body serif at a comfortable reading size, in one column, with generous margins. Paragraphs run about sixty to seventy-five characters a line.
A heading inside the article
Section headings use the display serif. Lists read cleanly:
- Reward tiers are listed on the funding page.
- Updates are posted to the build log.
- Every figure on the page is shown in the open.
